Complex Problems SoftPro develops creative software solutions for complex problems.  While many problems are complex, we focus on those that can consume an expert’s time and attention.  Typically these problems are in data-rich domains that require skilled judgment.  Because expertise is scarce in many organizations, the most skilled people often have too much to do and far too little time.  For example, an oil production engineer’s monthly “case load” might include 300+ wells.  Since the analysis of a single well might require 2-3 hours, even the most diligent engineer can only review ~60-80 wells per month.

SoftPro and CMI have been funded to extend LabTrak and Prescient for use at a major power generation facility in the Western U.S.
